Read it here! http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stories/singaporelocalnews/view/1096671/1/.html

Well well well this is an interesting article as petty theft has not been seen much around in Singapore for a long time. Mostly because from the time we are young, our parents, teachers and police officers that go to our schools have always stressed how stealing and robbery is a bad thing
So if anyone was going to do the robbery, it should have been a much more elderly man. Instead, we have 12 and 14 year old boys robbing an old man! This means one thing for sure: Singapore needs to step up it's anti-crime campaign.

Because if one case erupts, many more might happen in the future, just like the slashing incident. This case has helped to prove something. And that is that the "safe country" that Singapore has claimed itself to be is now a far cry from it's present self. Overall, I conclude that if Singapore is to continue to claim to be a safe country with one of the lowest crime rates in the world, it had better step up it's anti-crime campaign and force the teachers to take Civics and Moral Education classes more seriously. Otherwise, they can kiss goodbye to their "safe and secure" future.
